Wine Tasting + Vesuvio All Inclusive｜Italy

The excursion starts from Porta Marina Superiore, the main entrance to the Pompeii excavations. Your driver will be waiting for you displaying a sign with the name of our agency.
You will be taken to an altitude of 1000 metres above sea level and then walk for about 25 minutes to the crater of Vesuvius. Once at the top, you will be able to admire one of the most majestic volcanoes still active in the world, located in the centre of the breathtaking Gulf of Naples.
On the way back, there will be a stop at the wineries located along the slopes of Vesuvius, which offer the possibility of embarking on an exciting journey from visiting the vineyards to tasting their very own products.
The tour is structured as follows:
• Visit to the vineyard to admire the vines full of grapes through a unique panoramic route.
• Wine tasting consisting of tasting 4 typical wines, under the guidance of expert sommeliers.
• Tasting of the menu that complements the drinks and which includes: tasting of homemade extra virgin olive oil, bruschetta with fresh cherry tomatoes, local cold cuts, in-season vegetables, provolone del Monaco DOP, casatiello, fresh pasta with tomato sauce and homemade cake.
• There will also be a visit to the centuries-old wine cellars to learn about the entire wine production process, which starts with the grape harvest and ends with the production of a unique wine.
At the end of the wine tour, you will be accompanied by your driver back to previously arranged meeting point.
