Naples: Full-Day Tour with Private Transportation｜Italy

Your tour will begin with pick-up from any port or hotel of your choosing in Campania. From here you will embark to see both the historical and more recent parts of this stunning metropolis. You will fist arrive at the Piazza Garibaldi, where you will walk along Corso Umberto I to glimpse the Port of Naples and enjoy the luxurious Riviera di Chiaia. Following this, you will pass by the "Piazza del Gesù" square, where the church of Gesù Nuovo stands. The central street, called "Spaccanapoli", will lead you along the very path which used to be the central avenue (cardo) of the city in ancient times.

This street will introduce you to the southern Italian spirit, and among other monuments, you will see the miraculous church and monastery of Saint Chiara, which dates back to the 14th century. Up next you will experience one of the highlights of your tour, the cathedral of Saint Gennaro. You will then stop for lunch in a classical pizzeria to try authentic pizza, which originated in Naples. If you like, you will have the option to be taken to a local restaurant where only the local people go to eat the best pizza in the city.

Following lunch, you will go to Piazza Plebiscito, where you can view the historical Quartieri Spagnoli and the Gallery of King Umberto Primo. You will also visit the famous San Carlo theater (the first professional Opera theater in Europe), the Royal Palace, the beautiful Gambrinus cafe (where many famous artists and writers have been), and the formidable Maschio Angioino Castle. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your point of origin, or other place of convenience.
