Experience the vast Tottori Sand Dunes, one of the largest in Japan
After lunch, enjoy a stroll through the magnificent Tottori Sand Dunes, a natural wonder shaped over time. The dunes stretch approximately 2.4 km north to south and 16 km east to west, with elevation differences reaching up to 90 meters.
Optional (additional fee) Sand Museum
Located near the Tottori Sand Dunes, this is the only museum in the world dedicated to sand sculptures, created using only sand and water from the dunes. Based on the concept of “Travel the World in Sand,” the exhibition theme changes every year. From April 24, 2026, the 17th exhibition will feature “Travel the World in Sand – Spain.”

Visit Hakuto Shrine, the legendary setting of the “White Rabbit of Inaba” and a famous spot for love and matchmaking
Hakuto Shrine is a historic shrine mentioned in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. Inspired by its mythology, it has long been worshipped as a place for healing skin ailments and burns. The shrine enshrines the “White Rabbit of Inaba,” known for bringing together Okuninushi and Princess Yagami. Recognized as the birthplace of Japan’s first love story, Hakuto was designated a “Sacred Place for Lovers” in 2010.
