On the third day, we will meet at our Adelaide city hotel around 9:30 AM and drive for about 30 minutes to Penfolds Magill Estate, a world-renowned winery. This is one of the birthplaces of the Penfolds brand, where you can take photos of the estate's exterior and surroundings, and experience the rich history of South Australian winemaking.
Afterwards, we will travel to Lake Bumbunga, a famous Instagrammable spot in South Australia. We will stop in the town of Port Wakefield en route, where guests can have lunch at their own expense. The Pink Lake is one of South Australia's most iconic natural wonders. Due to the natural interaction of algae and salt in the lake, the water displays a dreamy pink hue under certain weather and seasons, resembling a giant pink mirror from afar – absolutely enchanting! [Friendly reminder: The Pink Lake is a natural phenomenon; the color of the water will vary depending on the season, weather, and lighting. Please refer to the actual view for the most accurate representation.]
In the afternoon, we'll travel to Port Adelaide, a place where history and modernity blend seamlessly. Upon arrival, you can stroll along the harbor's canals, enjoying the scenery on both banks and learning about the development history of this century-old port city. Here, you can also have the option of an optional 1.5-hour dolphin-watching tour at Shipwreck Bay (at your own expense) or visit the National Railway Museum, which boasts over 100 exhibits. You can even climb into the driver's cab of one of the displayed trains and travel through vintage carriages. Taking a ride on the museum's steam train is also a worthwhile experience.
Guests not participating in optional excursions can visit nearby Semaphore Beach, a popular seaside retreat for locals, boasting a wide sandy beach and a signature long pier. Stroll along the beach, admire the South Australian coastline, or relax at a seaside café and soak in the relaxed seaside atmosphere.
After the tour, we returned to our hotel in Adelaide city center at approximately 5:30 PM.
Optional self-funded items:
1.5-hour Shipwreck Beach Dolphin Watching Tour: AUD$88/adult, AUD$55/child (3-12 years old) [Pre-trip booking required]
National Railway Museum: AUD$19/adult, AUD$7/child (5-15 years old)
Day 4: Feli Peninsula + Airport Transfer. Pick up from your hotel in Adelaide city center at 9:30 am and head to Port Willunga Beach, a popular spot for photographers and a row of caves along the coast.
Afterwards, head to the beautiful seaside town of Victor Harbour. You can choose to walk 630 meters along a boardwalk to Granite Island to admire the wave-sculpted rocks. Alternatively, at your own expense, you can take a traditional horse-drawn carriage (Australia's only horse-drawn railcar) to Granite Island. As the name suggests, the horse-drawn carriage is a traditional double-decker carriage pulled by strong horses, leisurely taking tourists on a tour of the island.
After lunch in the town (at your own expense), drive approximately 50 minutes to d'Arenberg Cube, a surrealist vineyard in McLaren Vale. Here, you can choose to enter the Cube to experience various winemaking processes and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the beautiful vineyards (guide will not accompany you inside).
VIPs who do not enter can follow a guide to the popular Down to the Rabbit Hole Wines, owned by Instagram influencer Elise Cook, known for her impeccable taste. The vintage double-decker bus and trendy swing are perfect for photos.
Arrive at Adelaide Airport around 5 o'clock.
Optional self-funded items:
Horse-drawn carriage ride: AUD$20 per adult one way (children accompany the adult for a fee, adults ride free).
The Dalenberg Cube Winery tour includes admission and a wine tasting experience. AUD$20 per adult, AUD$10 per child (3-17 years old).
[The order of the above itinerary may be adjusted, but the content will remain the same.]
