Product Info
- This plan allows you to create an 'Otani-yaki' piece using 800g of clay on a hand-turned potter's wheel. Our staff will handle the finishing touches, such as trimming, and the firing process. You can choose from 8 colors for the final glaze. The finished product will be ready in about 1.5 to 2 months (this may vary slightly depending on the kiln firing schedule). ＊In-store pickup is free. Shipping (including packaging costs) will be charged for delivery.
- Experience pottery making at a historic kiln!
- 'Onishi Toki' is a historic kiln founded in 1919. A new classroom was built in 2014, fully equipped with wheelchair ramps and accessible restrooms. One instructor will be assigned to your group, so please feel free to ask for help. We will provide gentle and careful support. Since we use a hand-turned potter's wheel, this is a plan where you can take your time and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.
Carefully crafted on a hand-operated potter's wheel.
The amount of clay you can use is 1 kg.
You can choose from 5 glaze colors.
