We will guide you through a course filled with the unique charm of Kurashiki★
Kurashiki flourished as a hub for goods since the Edo Tenryo period. With its willow-lined riverbanks, white-walled mansions, traditional townhouses that evoke the Edo atmosphere, and the world-renowned Western art collection at the Ohara Museum of Art, it offers endless charm no matter how many times you visit. This course allows you to fully enjoy the history of Kurashiki, which stretches across the east side—home to landmarks associated with the Ohara family who shaped Kurashiki's history since the Meiji era—and the west side, where the history of the Ohashi family, who served as village headmen during the Edo period, remains. Experience the preserved townscapes of Honmachi and Higashimachi along with the atmosphere of the Kurashiki River.
