- Enjoy playing in nature! The groundwater of the Upper Nagara River is so pure that it is bottled and sold as 'Hoga no Mori Sui' (Hoga Forest Water). You can enjoy the nature of the Upper Nagara River, with its crystal-clear water, beautiful forests, and valleys! This course allows you to relax and float down the river while being soothed by the forest and water. It is an introductory canyoning course designed for a relaxing outdoor experience. Enjoy a soothing canyoning session featuring river floating, waterfall play, mini sliders, cliff jumping, and forest swings. Even children below elementary school age can participate if they are at least 100cm tall and have a foot size of at least 18cm. About 1.5 hours from Nagoya Station! Great nature accessible by car. It is about a 1.5-hour drive from Nagoya! After exiting at the 'Mino IC' on the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway, it is about a 30-minute drive to the nature-filled Tripper Base. A great advantage is that you will still have time for sightseeing after the tour. Many free rental items are available for a safe experience! You only need to bring a towel and swimsuit. We provide free rentals for all necessary gear, including wetsuits, river shoes, life jackets, and helmets! Just bring your towel and swimsuit! We have established operational guidelines and only run tours when we can provide a safe experience. Our lead guide, with over 20 years of experience, checks the field based on observation rocks, weather forecasts, and cloud movements. We only guide tours when it is safe to do so.
- Introductory Canyoning Course
- The river experience lasts for 1 hour. This plan is for those who want to enjoy canyoning in a short amount of time. Recommended for those who are not confident in their physical stamina.
- Open to elementary school students and younger
- Children below elementary school age can participate if they are at least 100cm tall and have a foot size of at least 18cm. Participation is now possible for three generations of a family. There is no upper age limit for healthy individuals.
- Relaxing Canyoning Experience
- The experience includes floating down the river using the buoyancy of a life jacket, waterfall play, cliff jumping, and mini sliders. With the beautiful valley and clear water, you can relax and play while being soothed by nature.

What You Can Expect

1 Day
- Meet at the Canyoning Tripper Base. After checking in at the building, listening to the explanation of the participation agreement, and changing clothes, you will put on your gear. The canyoning tour is about to begin!
- First, get used to the water. After a safety briefing, it is time to get comfortable in the water. Step into the crystal-clear, ice-cold mountain stream. It might feel cold at first, but thanks to your wetsuit, you will gradually get used to it.
- Practice floating down the river. Use the buoyancy of your life jacket to float on the water. By using your hands, you can steer yourself in the direction you want to go.
- Floating experience. The canyoning adventure begins. We will make our way to the goal while floating, walking, and playing along the river.
- Underwater observation in a beautiful pool. Put on your goggles and take a look at the riverbed. Can you spot any fish or other aquatic creatures?
- Commemorative photo in the beautiful forest. Take a photo with the forest along the riverbank. Does the green forest look like a world from a fantasy movie!?
- Cliff jumping is also available. Experience jumping off rocks. Choose from higher or lower spots and have fun taking the plunge!
- Mini slider. Experience a mini slider at a small waterfall.
- Goal reached safely. After plenty of fun in the river, the tour concludes. Return to the meeting point, change your clothes, and you are free to leave. Thank you for joining us.

Regarding cancellation of the event:
- Regarding cancellations, we will contact you in advance if there is a possibility of cancellation to avoid having to gather at the site on the day and then have the event canceled. If the event is canceled before the program has even begun, we will refund the full participation fee or reschedule the date. Because this is an outdoor activity, we may be forced to cancel the event on the day or midway through the program due to unexpected and sudden changes in weather. In such cases, guests will be responsible for accommodation and transportation costs. Please note that if the program is canceled midway through, we will discuss refunds depending on the circumstances. Please contact us in advance if you are staying overnight at a hotel or other accommodation. If cancellation is expected, we will contact you the day before (usually by the night before). If it is difficult to make a decision, we will contact you on the day to let you know whether the event will proceed or not, before your departure time. *In such cases, we will ask for a time to contact you in advance.

- Important notes for participating in the course: ● Important requests for a comfortable tour: To ensure a pleasant tour experience, we will provide you with the appropriate equipment (wetsuits, etc.) in advance. After your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a participation application form by email. Please fill out your participant information and be sure to return it by the specified date. If you do not receive the application form, please be sure to contact the tour company via message. *Please also check your spam folder as it may have been filtered out. ● Please refrain from drinking alcohol before the tour or during lunch. We will not allow anyone who has been drinking to participate in the tour, even on the day of the tour. By its very nature, outdoor sports involve interacting with nature, and cannot be completely free of danger. Please be aware of the dangers (risks) that may arise from unforeseen circumstances before participating.
Other important points:
- ●Participants under the age of 18 will need a parental (supervisor) signature, but parental participation is not required. ●Pregnant women, those who have drunk alcohol before the tour, and those with severe hangovers are not permitted to participate.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
