For those who want to give it a try, we recommend our day-trip 'Introductory Diving Course'. We select beginner-friendly dive sites in the Miura to Seisho area. (Depending on sea conditions, we may occasionally travel to the Izu area.) Even if you are not a strong swimmer, you will be fine. We start in shallow water where you can stand to check for any anxiety or stress, then slowly guide you to enjoy the underwater world. 【This course requires a prior visit to our school in Yokohama】 To ensure a safe experience, you must visit us once before the event date for a counseling session and to complete your registration. (Approximately 1 hour) Please let us know your preferred date for the visit when booking. At AXSY, we require all participants of the introductory diving course to visit us once before the event date for a counseling-style registration. We will introduce the school and our staff, and explain the basic knowledge of diving. We will also discuss the pros and cons of our school, share feedback from our students, and explain the course flow and schedule. For those interested in license courses, you can learn about the fun and ways to continue diving after getting your license, so you can start with peace of mind.
Solo participants are welcome!
Over 80% of students who come to AXSY join alone, and about 60% of our members are women. Most people start by themselves and end up making friends at the school. Since there is a high percentage of women, our curriculum is designed to be gentle and tailored to women's physical strength and skill levels.
