Before departure, the guide will select the optimal viewing location based on the day's aurora forecast and weather map. Along the way, the guide will share stories and facts about the Northern Lights and Iceland.

Once we reach what we deem the perfect spot, while we wait for the Northern Lights, our guide will offer photography tips to help you capture the beautiful aurora moments with the best camera settings. Chasing the Northern Lights requires patience and may involve waiting for a while in the cold night. Our guide will provide complimentary hot chocolate and light snacks to keep you warm during the wait.

We hope to see the aurora on our first stop, but if natural conditions don't cooperate, we may travel to other places to continue our search. We will do our best to make your aurora dream come true.

Although we have aurora and weather forecasts and our guides are very professional, the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can sometimes be missed. If you do not see the Northern Lights during your trip, we will offer you a free re-trip opportunity! Your guide will explain how to rebook. This re-trip offer is valid for three years from your original departure date.

After the night ends, we will take you back to the same location where we picked you up in Reykjavik.
