  • In 1990, we moved from Kyoto to the foot of Mt. Yotei in Kutchan. My father, brother, and sister are all potters, and while carrying on the tradition of Kyo-yaki, I create pottery daily while feeling the fresh breeze of Hokkaido. At this pottery studio, we also offer wool felt crafting experiences. Since we use a former schoolhouse as our atelier, gallery, and workshop space, it is far from modern or convenient. However, with sheep grazing in the garden, you can spend a peaceful time in a nostalgic and comforting space. We also exhibit and sell objects, reliefs, and everyday tableware, so please come and visit us to experience a relaxing holiday with wool felt.

How to Get There
By car: From Kutchan Station on the JR Hakodate Main Line, take the Donan Bus (bound for Date or Kimobetsu) and get off at the "Higashi 2-go" bus stop, which is right in front of the resort. Travel time: 20 minutes. By train: Approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes from Sapporo or New Chitose Airport. Approximately 20 minutes from Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski Resort. *Parking available for 50 cars and large buses.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 80% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
