— What You Can Expect —

On this tour, you’ll discover the stunning Diamond Beach and Glacier Lagoon, where enormous ancient icebergs drift from Vatnajökull glacier into the tranquil waters. The lagoon covers 18 square kilometres (7 square miles), reaches a depth of more than 248 metres (814 ft), and offers an unforgettable sight as 1000–1500 year old ice slowly melts away. You may recognize the lagoon from scenes in Batman Begins, Tomb Raider, and two James Bond movies.

The adventure continues with two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss, famous for the path that lets you walk behind the cascade, and Skógafoss, a mighty waterfall at the start of the Fimmvörðuháls trail. The waterfall was also featured in Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Along the way, you’ll also stop at Freysnes for dinner and visit the charming village of Vík í Mýrdal to admire the dramatic Reynisdrangar sea stacks rising from the ocean.
