How days are counted: the count starts once you arrive in your destination country, turn on data roaming and connect successfully. Days follow the Taiwan time (GMT+8) calendar, so each day ends at midnight Taiwan time, not after 24 hours.
Before installing the eSIM, connect to working Wi-Fi or mobile data, then scan the QR code to add the plan. You can install the eSIM before you arrive and activate it at your destination.
Follow the installation instructions. Do not leave the screen during installation, or your phone may misread it and delete the eSIM plan.
Each QR code can be scanned once on one phone only and cannot be transferred after it is linked.
An error message after scanning does not mean the eSIM is invalid. Restart your phone and check under Cellular/Mobile Service whether the eSIM is linked to your phone, or contact customer service for help. Do not scan any other QR code yourself, as linking twice will invalidate the eSIM.
Unscanned eSIMs can be kept for 180 days. Once scanned, the eSIM must be activated within 30 days or it expires automatically and cannot be refunded or extended.
On iPhone, delete any configuration profiles (check under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and scroll to the bottom; if there is no profile, you are fine) to avoid connection problems.
If you delete the eSIM plan before the data is used up, or without confirmation from customer service, it cannot be reissued or refunded.
Make sure your phone and its operating system support eSIM before purchase. Orders canceled because of an incompatible device cannot be refunded.
Network quality varies by country. Base stations are not as dense as in Taiwan, and coverage and infrastructure differ by country and region, so refunds cannot be given for signal conditions in a few areas. If the signal is poor, switch carriers manually: Network Selection / Carrier > turn off Automatic > choose another carrier from the search results.
If the eSIM does not work when you arrive, contact customer service on LINE. After-sales support is not available once you have returned home.
This product uses an international roaming IP, so some apps on Android phones may not work because of the IP location (e.g. TikTok/Douyin, Alipay, Amap, Meituan, Mini Programs, ChatGPT, etc.).
Validity
You can scan the QR code on your voucher in Taiwan before your trip to complete the eSIM installation and setup. However, to avoid unnecessary roaming charges or premature service activation, it is recommended that you manually enable the mobile data roaming function only after arriving in your destination country. This will allow you to use the internet service immediately, ensuring that billing starts only when you need it.
