Join Go West Tours for a full day of snow play, scenic beauty, and sweet indulgence on our Lake Mountain Snow Tour. With thousands of five-star reviews, professional, expert guides, and upgraded vehicle comfort, we don’t just take you to the snow, we deliver a day to remember.
Departing Melbourne between 7:00 and 8:00am (no painful 5am wake-up calls here!), you’ll travel east in our air-conditioned 24-seater vehicle with comfortable seating and free onboard Wi-Fi. Along the way, your exceptional Go West guide will share stories and local knowledge to bring the landscape to life.
Your first stop is Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, where you’ll enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time to build snowmen, race down toboggan slopes, or jump into a spontaneous snowball fight!
From there, we wind through the picturesque Black Spur to reach Steavenson Falls, one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls. Soak in the crisp air and natural beauty on a short walk to the base of the falls, perfect for photos and peaceful moments.
To finish, visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, where you can browse handcrafted treats and perhaps reward your day’s efforts with a hot chocolate or two.

- The tour runs regardless of weather conditions, but will only proceed if Lake Mountain confirms there is adequate snow coverage
- Snow clothing and equipment can be hired for a fee at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort
- All our tours are conducted in English
- Moderate fitness required - includes short walks on uneven surfaces, not suitable for guests with very limited mobility or who require the use of mobility aids
- Large bags, strollers, prams, baby capsules, luggage, walkers and wheelchairs cannot be brought on board
- Return time for the Lake Mountain Snow Tour: Approximately 18:00 - 18:30

Reminders
A minimum of 4 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 3 day(s) before the departure date
Please arrive at the designated location 10 minute(s) before the scheduled departure time, as the tour will depart on time
Please wear appropriate clothing for the snow (warm, waterproof clothing including a jacket, pants, gloves, scarf, beanie). Snow clothing and equipment can be hired for a fee at Lake Mountain Alpine Resort
All modifications (rebookings, cancellations, or refunds) must be made through the booking platform, KKDay. The booking platform, KKDay will inform the tour operator of any changes
Meals are not included. You’ll have opportunities to purchase food at Lake Mountain and the Chocolaterie
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
