【Tempura Kisen】is an adult hideaway with a chic black bamboo aesthetic, offering a quiet space to enjoy your meal. We elevate rich, natural vegetables delivered from contracted farmers in Kyoto into delicious tempura using professional techniques. We also offer an 'Omakase Course' where you can enjoy a variety of dishes centered around tempura featuring seasonal ingredients. We have a wide selection of homemade fermented drinks made with organic fruits, perfect for guests of all ages who are health-conscious. Whether for business entertainment, banquets, or family gatherings, please enjoy a relaxing time chatting with your companions.
Our proud "Omakase Tempura" uses seasonal ingredients and is served freshly fried. The classic "Angel Shrimp" and "Naruto Kintoki" are also very popular. You can choose from an assortment of 3, 5, or 7 types, and enjoy the deliciousness of each season.
Our recommended appetizer is a Japanese-style platter of 8-inch servings. It comes with 7 kinds of tempura as per your choice. Please give it a try!
To accompany your meal, we recommend the popular homemade fermented drink from Hanare (sister store) ♪ This nutritious drink is made by fermenting organic fruit for over three months in water containing 30 types of minerals. There are about 23 varieties in the lineup, including sudachi, green yuzu, and Tosa pomelo. The contents change depending on the time of year, so you'll have to come and see what's available. We also have tempura (uncolored) made from fresh ginger pickled in fermented plum drink, so if you're interested, please try it.
Our restaurant has a chic and calm interior made of black bamboo. The counter seats are perfect for romantic dates or special occasions, while the four-person table seats are perfect for gatherings with friends or family. Come and enjoy a wonderful time in a relaxing space!

Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
