Taking Care of the Gardens
Q: Can I touch or pick the plants and flowers?
A: Please do not touch, pick, or lean on the plants and flowers. These are living exhibits that we
carefully care for and preserving them allows all guests to enjoy the Gardens’ natural beauty.
Q: Can I feed the birds or wildlife?
A: It is illegal to feed wildlife in Singapore under the Wildlife Act. If you are caught feeding wildlife,
you may incur a maximum fine of up to $10,000. It can also disrupt their natural behaviour. Let’s
enjoy their presence from a respectful distance.
Food, Cleanliness & Personal Belongings
Q: Can we eat or drink inside the attractions?
A: Food and drinks are not allowed inside Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, Floral Fantasy, Supertree
Observatory and OCBC Skyway. Please enjoy your meals at outdoor areas or at our food and
beverage outlets.
Q: Where should we dispose rubbish?
A: Please use the bins provided around the Gardens. Let’s all help keep our shared spaces clean.
Q: Can we use the strollers or wheelchairs which are located at dome reception areas?
A: Strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs located at the dome reception areas may be reserved or
privately owned. Please check with our staƯ before use.
Photos, Queues & Personal Space
Q: Can I take photos or videos of other guests?
A: Out of respect for others’ privacy, please avoid taking photos or videos of other guests without
their consent. Respecting others’ privacy helps everyone feel safe and comfortable.
Q: What should I do when queuing?
A: We appreciate your kind patience especially during peak periods. Always follow queue markers
and wait your turn. Please refrain from queue-cutting to ensure fairness for all visitors. If visiting in a
group, please queue together and be mindful of others around you.
Q: Are there popular places to take photos?
A: There are many scenic locations throughout the Gardens that are popular for photo-taking. We
kindly ask guests to be considerate of others who may be waiting, and to avoid occupying these
spaces for extended periods so everyone can have a chance to enjoy and capture their own
memories.
Families with Children, Strollers & Missing Persons
Q: Can I bring a stroller into the attractions?
A: For everyone’s safety and comfort, please park stroller in designated areas before entering the
attractions. Our staƯ will guide you.
Q: Can guests explore the Gardens freely?
A: Guests are welcome to explore at their own pace, but we recommend that groups stay close
together and keep in touch throughout the visit. To avoid confusion or unnecessary worry, it’s helpful
to agree on meeting points in case anyone gets separated.
Guests are encouraged to stay connected on their mobile phones in case their loved ones need to
reach them. Free WiFi is available throughout the Gardens to help guests stay connected. If a loved
one requires special care/attention, it is advisable to keep a copy of emergency contact information
on him/her.
Escalator & Safety Behaviour
Q: Are there any safety rules for escalators?
A: Yes – for safety, please do not sit, play, or run on escalators. Do not place any item into the side
panels or bring strollers onto escalators. These actions may lead to injuries, equipment damage, or
service disruptions. Please supervise children when using escalators and moving walkways.
Respecting StaƯ and Other Guests
Q: Who can I approach for help during my visit?
A: Our friendly staƯ and ambassadors are located throughout the Gardens. They are happy to assist
with directions, group coordination, or any questions you may have.
Q: How should guests interact with staƯ?
A: Our staƯ are here to keep your visit smooth and safe. We appreciate your support in treating our
team members with courtesy and respect, especially during peak periods. If you are unsure about
anything, just ask - we’re happy to help.
