- Attraction Introduction -

  • Suwon Hwaseong Fortress:
    King Jeongjo, the 22nd monarch of the Joseon Dynasty, moved his father Crown Prince Sado's tomb from Baebongsan Mountain in Yangju to Suwon Hwasan Mountain, which was considered the best geomantic site in Joseon at the time. He also relocated the town near Hwasan to the foot of Paldalsan Mountain in present-day Suwon, where Suwon Hwaseong Fortress was built. Suwon Hwaseong is not only a testament to King Jeongjo's filial piety, but also a fortress built at the center of his political vision to eradicate factional politics and achieve strong royal rule amidst chaotic factional disputes. It can be said that Suwon Hwaseong represents King Jeongjo's political aspirations. At the same time, the construction of Suwon Hwaseong was also intended to better utilize the defensive stronghold located south of the capital.
  • Hwaseong Haenggung Palace:
    Hwaseong Haenggung Palace was a place where King Jeongjo stayed temporarily when visiting Hyeollyungwon Tomb. Its scale was more magnificent than other temporary palaces and its usage rate was higher, leading some to even call it the 'secondary palace' of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Hwaseong Fortress was built between the 18th and 20th years of King Jeongjo's reign, and the palace was established on the east side of Paldalsan Mountain, serving as the office of the magistrate (the current city hall) during normal times. It has also become a filming location for dramas such as 'Moon Embracing the Sun', 'Rooftop Prince', 'Deep Rooted Tree', 'The Princess' Man', 'Yi San', 'Insu, the Queen Mother', 'Queen In-hyun's Man', and 'The King and I'.

Overtime charges

The private charter car service is based on the regulations of each itinerary, and additional fees will be charged for overtime.
9-seater → 30,000 won/hour
11-seater → 40,000 won/hour
15-seater → 50,000 won/hour

Night service fee

If you want to ride outside the service hours (08:00~21:00), an additional nighttime (21:00~07:00) service fee of 30,000 won/hour will be charged.
