A hidden gem izakaya that feels like a traditional folk house, located about a 10-minute walk from Chitose Station. The name of the restaurant comes from a Miyazaki dialect meaning 'so-so', 'roughly', or 'at one's own pace'. We take pride in our fresh Hokkaido seafood and the local cuisine of the owner's hometown, Miyazaki Prefecture. Our recommended dish, 'Miyazaki Momiji Chicken Charcoal Grill', is a masterpiece that allows you to fully enjoy the rich flavor of the chicken. It is a retro space decorated with Showa-era records and enamel signs, with Showa-era pop music playing in the background. The semi-private rooms with horigotatsu seating are perfect for parties.
Fresh sashimi is sourced daily from the Sapporo Central Market. On days when good mackerel arrives, the owner's pride and joy, "homemade marinated mackerel," is added to the menu. You can enjoy carefully selected seasonal seafood, mainly from Hokkaido.
The secret ingredients of light soy sauce and mirin give it a slightly Japanese taste. The topping of the omelette in the photo is the most popular "Mentaiko cheese." The fluffy omelette is a favorite of everyone, from children to the elderly.
The interior of the store is modeled after an old-style Japanese house, and displays signs and Showa-era records that the owner found around his parents' home in Miyazaki. Showa-era pop songs play in the background. It's a retro-style space that makes you feel like you've traveled back in time.
The semi-private rooms with sunken kotatsu seats are perfect for family meals. It's a cozy space that makes you feel like you're relaxing at home. Families with children and seniors can all relax and enjoy their time here.
