Our restaurant is perfect for lunch or as a cafe, where you can enjoy the seasonal scenery. The Tea and Kaiseki Course allows you to experience an authentic tea ceremony in a historic location designated as a cultural asset by Ishikawa Prefecture. We will rent out the main room of Mugenan for you to enjoy. Enjoy a kaiseki meal using ingredients from Kaga's famous regions, and a tea ceremony. We also offer a Snow Course, which is more casual for beginners. This course is held at Sabo Uruhashi, and allows you to experience making matcha under instruction and a variety of dishes. Mugenan is a samurai shoin residence built in 1912 (Taisho 1). In the Meiji era, this historic building was completed using the best building materials and traditional techniques of the time. Today, we offer a photo shoot service for coming-of-age ceremonies and pre-weddings, with this beautiful landscape as a backdrop. We also offer a "celebration plan" where you can enjoy not only photos but also meals. Come and create special memories while experiencing traditional culture in this luxurious place nurtured by the Kaga Domain's million-koku fief.
