Located on the 2nd floor of Kanazawa Hakomachi, just a 1-minute walk from Omicho Market in Kanazawa, Coil is a sushi and Japanese restaurant. Their specialty is sushi rolls and gunkan-maki that you can roll yourself, choosing from about 50 different ingredients. You can also enjoy tempura, dishes made with Hokuriku ingredients, and local sake from Ishikawa Prefecture. The restaurant is also popular for its matcha experience using authentic tea utensils and for cafe offerings like matcha sweets. Vegan, gluten-free, and halal-friendly menus are also available.
Our restaurant is proud of our thin sushi rolls, which you can choose your favorite toppings from. You can choose from a wide variety of toppings, from classics like tuna and salmon to more unusual varieties like avocado and basil tartare and corn tuna mayo. You place your favorite ingredients on top of seaweed and vinegared rice and roll it up yourself. Why not experience the joy of food by carefully preparing your sushi the old-fashioned way?
We offer Japanese teas carefully selected by the owner. Japanese teas are rich in color, aroma, and flavor, and have complex and delicate flavors. You can choose from several types, such as Sencha, Gyokuro, and Kanazawa Bocha, from a dedicated stand. We also recommend tasting and comparing the different types to enjoy the differences. We also have a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, mainly sake, but also beer, highballs, and wine, so please enjoy them with your meal.
It is located on the second floor of Kanazawa Hakomachi, near Omicho Market, where fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables are gathered, in a section of Kanazawa, a city rich in history and atmosphere. The restaurant has a modern Japanese interior and a relaxed atmosphere, with a total of 54 seats. You can enjoy your meal at your leisure. It is also perfect for important dates, anniversaries, girls' nights, and business entertainment. It is easily accessible from the center of Kanazawa, so please stop by when you are traveling.
We offer a premium course that requires a reservation at least two days in advance. In addition to ingredients that are not available on the regular menu, you can also enjoy duck and Japanese black beef. Japanese restaurants strictly adhere to the reservation time system. If you are late, it will be considered as a voluntary cancellation of the reservation. Latecomers cannot request changes, cancellations, or refunds for this reason.
The Promotional photos are for reference only. If the actual dishes served is different than the reference, please reflect that to the restaurant, who will be responsible for this matter fully.
Dining time is limited. If you're late and therefore shorten the dining time, the dining time cannot be extended.
