The venue, named "Cascade" after the small waterfall that was one of the views from the window, was used as a place to hold dance parties when the building was constructed in 1920, and was restored as a restaurant in the newly constructed building on July 15, 2020. The stained glass depicting the lush greenery of Hakone was imported from abroad. The transom is also decorated with images of travelling along the Tokaido in the Edo period, famous Japanese places, traditional events, ancient Japanese cherry blossom viewing, and Edo scenery.
