Enjoy a scenic 15-minute cable car ride to the Krienseregg middle station, where you can unwind on the sun terrace of the Krienseregg Restaurant (own cost) while kids have fun at the Pilu Land playground.
Continue your ascent with another 15-minute panoramic gondola ride to Fräkmüntegg. Here, thrill-seekers can challenge themselves at the rope park (own cost), and food lovers can sample local flavors at the self-service restaurant (own cost).

- Start your journey at the Lucerne train station. The ticket is valid for bus No. 1, the cable car, the cogwheel train, and the train between Alpnachstad and Lucerne.
- If you want to start the journey in the other direction, get on the S5 train to Alpnachstad (heading towards Giswil).
- Dress according to the weather, as it can be cold and windy at the summit.
- Small children travel for free (age 0 - 5.99 years)
- The price for children applies between 6 and 15.99 years.
- Choose first class for a better train experience: Holders of a first-class ticket sit in more comfortable seats with more space.
