Participation Requirements
- Open to ages 7 and up.
- Tattoos: guests with tattoos may not be allowed into the hot spring facility. Please let us know in advance.
- Each raft seats a fixed 7 people. Bookings of 8 or more will be split across 2 rafts. Thank you for your understanding.
Before and During the Tour
- Typhoons and localized heavy rain: tours generally run in the rain, but the itinerary may be changed or the tour canceled due to bad weather or a swollen river.
Note: If the tour is canceled:
Hozugawa Kudari will contact the booking representative.
Rescheduling or cancellation will be free of handling fees.
Weather conditions can change quickly. If the weather is unsettled, please contact us before departure.
If the tour has to be canceled on the day, please note that transportation costs to the site are the guest's own responsibility. - No participation under the influence of alcohol: drinking is prohibited for this tour.
Anyone found to be intoxicated at check-in will be refused participation.
Please do not drink alcohol until the tour has ended, including at lunch.
Such cases are treated as a same-day cancellation, and the participation fee will not be refunded.
Entering the river after drinking is extremely dangerous. We ask for your understanding and cooperation for your own safety. - Injuries: if you are injured during the tour, first aid will be given on site and you will be taken to a medical facility or given emergency care as needed.
Treatment costs at medical facilities are the guest's own responsibility. Please bring a copy of your health insurance card.
Any subsequent hospitalization costs are handled the same way, and the operator's accident insurance benefits will apply. - Safety participation standards: to keep the raft balanced and ensure safety in an emergency, this tour has body-size guidelines.
Maximum equipment size: weight up to 105 kg / height up to 190 cm.
Detailed size reference: chest 119 cm, waist 96 cm, hips 114 cm (equivalent to a 3XL wetsuit).
