  • Volcano National Park Volcano National Park is made up of five inactive volcanoes, the highest peak being Mount Karisimbi at 4,507m. It is said that about 650 mountain gorillas live at the foot of the mountain. Currently, 13 mountain gorilla groups have been confirmed in the park, with the largest group consisting of about 30 individuals. Tourists can visit 11 of these groups, each with a name such as Amahoro, Susa, Karisimbi, and Hirwa.

  • Ruhengeri Ruhengeri is a small city located in the northwest of Rwanda, 25 km from the Ugandan border, with a population of 70,000 people. It offers beautiful views of Lake Ruhondo, Lake Brera and the volcano. The people are friendly and many speak English, as it was originally a Belgian colony.
