Reservations for a Kakio Experience Tour at the Niihama Taiko Festival, one of the three major festivals in Shikoku (Ehime Prefecture, Festival Experience)

Normally, only people with a local connection can participate in this taiko festival, but this time you can specially participate as a "kakio" (a person who carries the taiko float and also gets to experience riding on it and beating the drums) and help make the festival more exciting.

Furthermore, by interacting with local people, you can hear about the history of the festival and the feelings of the local community, making the Niihama Taiko Festival tour even more enjoyable. Carrying the taiko stand naturally deepens your friendships with your fellow members, so you can also interact with local people and deepen your bonds with your friends who participate with you!

Currently, Niihama City is experiencing a declining birthrate and an aging population, and there are fewer young people to become kakio, so the survival of the festival may be in jeopardy in the future.
