  • Please note that the BritRail Pass is only valid on National Rail services and therefore is not valid on Eurostar services; services in Northern Ireland; special excursions; the Tyne and Wear Metro (Newcastle-upon-Tyne area); Glasgow Underground trains, Manchester Metrolink or other tram networks; road or light rail links between airports and railway stations; Docklands Light Railway; privately owned railways, steam services, heritage, tourist or other leisure railways; London Underground trains and buses; ships, hovercraft, nor any other services not mentioned.
  • BritRail M-Passes are pre-validated at time of purchase. They are validated once you have chosen your start date and received the barcode.
  • Activation is made through the link sent by email.The activation date is the date you will be using the pass on the train for the first time.
  • All BritRail Passes are valid from 00:00 hrs to 23:59 hrs (Midnight to Midnight) on a chosen day of travel. It includes Peak hours as well.
  • Please note: If a Pass holder is travelling on an overnight train containing sleeper accommodation, the next day’s date must be inserted. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the payment of a fine and the cost of a full fare ticket

  • The industrial action will severely disrupt some parts of the British rail network on specific dates. Please check the first and last train times on the website, as there will be limited service on the rail network. These dates are subject to change or cancellation. To avoid disappointment, please check before reserving your seats or tickets. Additionally, there may be holiday closures and planned engineering closures. We advise checking in advance on Network Rail as limited service will be running on the rail network.

  • Only train passes that are not activated and completely unused are eligible for a refund. Refund requests must be processed within 11 months from the date of invoicing

  • When requesting a refund, a cancellation penalty (based on the refund rate shown on the pass or 15%) and processing fee of of NT$400 will be deducted. Please ensure you have all tickets, including the pass and reservation card, available for the supplier to handle the follow-up process

  • The supplier cannot be held responsible for any losses you may suffer due to strikes, shuttle delays, interruptions in connections, or theft or loss of luggage. In the event of an emergency as listed above, you can follow the rules for changing or refunding tickets
