Tung Ping Chau is located in the northeastern waters. Due to its remote location and low human activity, the area has minimal pollution, and the coastal waters are crystal clear, making it an excellent spot for snorkeling. Its marine park boasts a diverse marine ecosystem, featuring the highest concentration of stony corals in Hong Kong, as well as over 100 species of coral-associated fish and more than 200 species of marine invertebrates.


- Usage Instructions -

  • Age requirement: 6 years old or above
  • Minimum group size: 20 people or more
  • Available departure dates: May 1 to October 31, 2026, every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday
  • Meeting time and location: 8:30am at University Station Exit B
  • Dismissal time and location: 7:00pm at University Station Exit B
  • Tour fee includes: Round-trip ferry ticket from Ma Liu Shui to Tung Ping Chau, lunch on Ping Chau, snorkeling equipment rental (full-face mask, life jacket, gloves), and travel insurance
  • The minimum group size for each departure date is 20 people. Confirmation will be provided at least 2 days before the departure date. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the trip will be cancelled, and you will be notified 2 days before the departure date. You may then choose to reschedule to another date.
