Tumalog Falls

Highly recommended! The overall experience was excellent, the driver Francis was very friendly, and it was great value for money. The day trip included three activities, but it wasn't tiring at all; you could rest on the bus. Compared to the Balicasag Falls in Bohol and the island hopping tours on Virgin Island, this was incredibly good value! We departed around 2:30 AM and arrived in Oslo around 5:00 AM, even managing to watch the sunrise. We were probably among the second group to go swimming; the water was crystal clear and had no fishy smell. Goggles were provided. After watching the whale sharks, we had a simple breakfast before heading to Tumalo. At Tumalo Falls, there were motorbikes that took us to the falls; the experience was smooth and easy. The final island hopping tour in Moalboal involved visiting three islands. Coral reefs, sardine runs, sea turtles Unlike Oslo with its whale sharks, there aren't as many boats crowding the surface (making it easy to bump your head). You can leisurely dive and observe each spot at your own pace. Around 10:30 AM, the sun is shining, visibility is high, and it's not too hot. After island hopping, around 12:30 PM, there's a chicken leg bento lunch. We only started our return trip after lunch. Due to traffic, we didn't get back to the hotel until around 5:00 PM.

Pick-up and drop-off starts at 3 AM. The journey is quite bumpy, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication. We arrive around 6 AM to draw a number (so the car is driving very fast). You can leave your belongings in the car. You can rent a GoPro on-site; someone will guide you. Give the GoPro to the boatman in the water, and they will film it for you. The rental only cost 550 pesos. Most importantly, the whale sharks are huge, very close, and incredibly moving. I highly recommend participating! The waterfall is also beautiful and great for photos. If the trip goes smoothly, we'll return to the city around 1 PM.
