This time, we unexpectedly joined a Japanese tour group. The entire group was Japanese, with only the two of us from Taiwan. Luckily, we could communicate using basic English. However, the itinerary explanations were all in Japanese, so be sure to confirm who your tour leader is to avoid joining the wrong group. The first stop was a marine protected area where we walked into the middle of the sea for about 45 minutes. There were many fish, but also a lot of people. Then we sailed to the vicinity of Surupa Island for lunch on the boat. After lunch, we stayed for about 40 minutes before returning to port. We could then go ashore. Lunch included fried noodles, skewers (slightly charred), perilla glutinous rice dumplings, hot soup, small crabs, and three kinds of fruit. The food was excellent. The island's beach was beautiful, but the island itself was quite deserted. We returned to the port around 2 PM, very punctual. They even provided pick-up and drop-off service to the hotel. Highly recommended for those who prefer short itineraries!! I didn't see anyone giving tips, so... I didn't have to give any.
