Suruga Ward

I've been to Kunozan Toshogu Shrine several times, but this was my first time using the ropeway. Taking the stairs on the south side can be quite challenging if you're not in good physical condition, but the ropeway was easy and convenient. From the second floor of the boarding building, take the stairs or elevator down to the first floor, show your voucher to the staff at the ticket counter, and they'll give you a paper ticket, which you can take to the boarding area. The ride is only about five minutes, but the views of the coastline are spectacular, and I was pleased with the view of the mountain valleys that you don't normally get to see. The announcements by the staff member who accompanied me on the ride were also good. The restaurant at the ropeway station is also recommended, as it serves easy-to-eat soba noodles and curry.
