I spent half a day on this 10-day solo trip to Okinawa. We visited Saiba-Ontake, Chinen Cape Park, and Himeyuri Tower. These places are relatively off the beaten path compared to other KKDay itineraries, but I just love these low-key spots with fewer tourists 😄😁😆
The stalactite cave is worth seeing, but the floor is slippery, so be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes. The EISA show showcases the team's enthusiasm, while the snake show is relatively small-scale. The costume experience is well worth it (additional fee applies), and the staff are very friendly; one speaks basic Chinese. They are also great at taking photos and don't push sales, making for a very pleasant experience. For those planning to go, be sure to pay attention to bus schedules, as direct buses are infrequent. On the return trip, taxi drivers will ask if you need a ride to the bus terminal; you can talk to them about it. I think it's quite convenient and saves time.
I took a day tour in both the north and south...the tour guides were all fantastic...especially Lulu from the north, she was amazing! You could feel how passionate she is about her work...her infectious enthusiasm made everyone have a great time. Tour guides are an important part of any trip...choosing their day tours won't disappoint...I'm so glad I chose this perfect itinerary out of 3 out of 4! ☺️☺️
I was extremely satisfied with my experience purchasing tickets for "Gyokusendo Cave, World Culture Kingdom" in Okinawa through KKday! The entire process, from ordering to entry, was incredibly smooth. The e-tickets were super convenient; simply showing the QR code at the entrance allowed for quick entry, saving me a lot of time and avoiding long queues. Gyokusendo Cave itself is definitely worth a visit. The stalactite formations inside are spectacular and breathtaking, and the lighting design adds a touch of mystery to the walkways. Walking through and admiring the natural wonders was truly immersive. The Culture Kingdom area outside the main attraction is also very interesting, featuring displays of Okinawan traditional culture, performances, and craft experiences—perfect for a leisurely half-day visit. There are also many shops and food stalls within the park, allowing you to relax and enjoy your visit. Overall, KKday's ticket prices are affordable and convenient. The itinerary information is clear, tickets are delivered quickly, and there were no issues using them on-site. I highly recommend purchasing Gyokusendo Cave tickets online in advance when traveling to Okinawa; it saves time, provides peace of mind, and the experience was fantastic! I will definitely use KKday to purchase tickets for other attractions during my next trip to Okinawa.
The driver was upgraded to a Chinese-speaking driver, who was friendly, polite, and a skilled driver, making for a comfortable and relaxing day trip. The 7-seater SUV was clean and spacious.
