I highly recommend this day trip to Kitakyushu! A special thank you to our guide, Thomas (Mr. Zheng), who provided detailed explanations, offered friendly and professional service, and took great care of all the group members. We were able to successfully visit the Life Museum, which was our family's most anticipated attraction, and the two children had a wonderful time. The night view of Mount Sarakura, Karato Market, and Moji Port were all fantastic. It was a fulfilling and enjoyable trip. Thank you, Thomas, for your thoughtfulness!

This Kyushu travel pass offers generous subsidies on all attractions, covering everything you need. It's convenient and offers great discounts.

1. Redeeming at Hakata Station was extremely convenient. Although only one day's worth of tickets could be redeemed, the machines were very convenient for the rest. 2. Your store did not sell QR codes, and not every counter staff member could manually process them. It took me a while to find one. I strongly recommend that the voucher have a QR code. Fortunately, the Japanese service was excellent; otherwise, we probably would have been refused. The roving assistance staff kept saying: "Only QR codes are allowed." 3. The sightseeing train is extremely popular; I recommend booking online in advance. 4. Due to heavy rain, trains to and from Yufuin and other destinations were suspended on the 25th and 26th. Fortunately, all trains above the express level required reserved seats, so I was able to immediately change to unreserved seats around Kokura and stay in Beppu. However, I incurred the loss of my Yufuin Onsen hotel accommodation due to the cancellation.

Starting from Hakata, Fukuoka, taking a day tour by bus is a great option, eliminating the hassle of transfers. The tour started with the Kanmon Strait and the Akiyoshi-dō limestone cave, followed by an elevator ride to the Akiyoshidai Karst Observatory. We had burdock noodles at Azumiya for lunch, then visited Motonosumi Inari Shrine and the Tsunoshima Bridge. The pace was excellent, and I think it was well worth it. A big thank you to our enthusiastic guide, Thomas, who was professional and attentive, taking many great photos for me.

This day trip to Mt. Sarakura in Kyushu was absolutely worthwhile! Some attractions are inconvenient to reach by public transport alone, so joining a bus tour saved you the hassle of transfers and made the trip much easier. The itinerary included Kanmon Bridge, Karato Market, Motonosumi Shrine, and Mt. Sarakura. Our guide, Daisy, provided detailed and attentive explanations throughout, not only introducing local culture but also reminding us of meeting times via Line, making the journey smoother. The seafood at Karato Market was fresh and reasonably priced; Motonosumi Shrine was the most stunning attraction of the trip, with spectacular views. It's not easy to reach without a car, so it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, we took the cable car up Mt. Sarakura to enjoy one of the three best night views in New Japan. It was a bit of a shame that we had to return early and missed the full night view and sunset, but overall, the trip was still very fulfilling and a very enjoyable travel experience.
