My first experience with powered paragliding was absolutely amazing! Following the instructor's instructions, I ran forward, and the moment my feet left the ground, I was lifted into the air. I took off from Nakajo Village; the staff kindly informed me of the exact takeoff location at 9 AM and provided a Google Maps location. Since I booked a 1 PM slot, it was about a half-hour bike ride from Naha. The entire flight lasted about 15 minutes, and the view of the vast, gradient blue sea from above was simply breathtaking! The staff member, Mega, was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend purchasing the video service for an extra 3,000 yen; it creates a truly precious record of your flight! I definitely want to try it again next time I'm in Okinawa!
The official guide's explanations were very detailed and informative. The entire trip was very enjoyable. There was a slight change to the itinerary: the first stop is Kouri Island, followed by a direct visit to the Beautiful Waterway Management Office, and then Cape Manzamo in the afternoon. Therefore, if you want to see the Golden Sands Food Show, you won't be able to, but you can still see the dolphin show. The meal at the Chungwu Restaurant includes two 3-cent rice balls and a drink.
At first, you need to find which bus you're on (there are many buses with different itineraries that day), so it took a little searching. The tour guide will call out names, so you must pay attention to where the guide is. Eating and drinking are prohibited on the bus! After boarding, the guide will introduce Okinawa and the attractions to be visited in Chinese. The guide is very nice and friendly! The schedule is also well-arranged. I highly recommend it to people who don't want to drive or take public transportation. The accompanying shrimp rice is really delicious!
The direct bus to American Village is very convenient. The staff speaks Chinese and explains the boarding and alighting times and locations very clearly when you exchange your ticket. The air conditioning on the bus is very cool!
