Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park

I booked this private tour because I wanted to make the sunrise over Mount Bromo a lifelong memory. The result was truly beyond my expectations and I'm extremely satisfied! I was especially surprised by how good our guide, IRUGI, was at Japanese. He explained everything clearly and carefully, including technical terms, so I was able to gain a deep understanding of the volcano's formation, the history of Bromo, and the surrounding nature. It wasn't just a trip to see the scenery, but a trip to "learn." While waiting at the sunrise point, he kindly explained things while providing warm drinks, so I didn't mind the cold at all. Everything was smooth, from transportation to the 4WD jeep, the climb to the crater, and breakfast. I felt completely at ease leaving everything to him. It was also great that I could enjoy it at my own pace because it was a private tour. He was also considerate about the timing of photo shoots, and I was able to take many wonderful shots! Despite the demanding early morning schedule, the guide's cheerful attitude and professional attentiveness made me feel more moved than tired. I would definitely recommend this tour and guide IRUGI to anyone who wants to go to Mount Bromo! (I heard that Ilgi-san has studied in Japan.) If I have the opportunity to come to Indonesia again, I would definitely like to request the same guide! Thank you so much!!

My Chinese-speaking tour guide was Hans, who was a very nice person. The driver was also very friendly. The tour guide spoke excellent Chinese. Although the two-day, one-night trip was tiring, the tour guide and driver took very good care of me, and the hotel I stayed in was also quite nice.
