The easiest and cheapest way to get to Tai O is to take the bus from Tung Chung. If travelling from Hong Kong Island or Kowloon, take the Tung Chung Line on the MTR to Tung Chung Station and use Exit B to get to the bus terminus underneath the Citygate Outlets.
