Product Info

Kefalonia is a beautiful island in Ionian that is known for its wine culture. A wine tour in Kefalonia is an excellent way to explore the vineyards and wineries on the slopes of Mt Ainos and beyond. You will learn all about the famous "Robola" grape introduced by Venetians and how it is used to make unique Kefalonian wines. The tour will be led by expert wine guides who will provide you with all the knowledge and expertise you need, on a series of fine wines with the correct way of tasting them. Tour the cellars of each wine estate, and follow the production process through from harvesting the grapes through to maturing the wine. Walk with your guide around one of the estate’s mountain vineyards, and sip on up to 12 - 15 different varieties of the island wine, including local Robola and Mavrodaphne. Nibbles such as olives, bread, and cheese are also included.
This tour will give you an opportunity to taste the wines and learn everything about the winemaking process. You will also get to enjoy the island's scenic landscape while sipping on some of the best wines Kefalonia has to offer.
