Product Info

Build confidence on a mountain bike with the Out of the Gate experience, a private coaching session that teaches the basics in a supportive, scenic setting. Your expert guide meets you for a personalized on bike training, adjusts the ride to your comfort level, and helps you build real skills you can use on any trail.

You’ll cover key fundamentals such as seat height, body position, bike setup, tire pressure, suspension settings, shifting, and braking. Then you’ll choose how you want to ride: repeat sections to practice, or move onto beginner-friendly singletrack where your coach can work with you on cornering, balance, and looking ahead. If you’re feeling strong, you can also try small rock gardens with guidance.

The trail system is a mix of paved bike paths, wide doubletrack, and some beginner level singletrack on flat to rolling terrain, ideal for learning and progressing. After the ride, you can opt for a refreshing dip in the lake, so bring a bathing suit if that’s your plan.
