Know Before You Go: Small-Group and Private Tours: your pickup time is emailed by 3:00 PM on the tour day
Know Before You Go: The tour lasts 5–8 hours, depending on how far away the clear sky is that night
Know Before You Go: If the weather rules out the hunt, we cancel by 4:00 PM on the tour day with a full refund
Know Before You Go: Guarantee (Group and Small-Group Tours): if our guides' cameras capture no aurora during your tour, you choose a free place on another hunt, as many times as you need, or a full refund. Any aurora that shows in the guides' photos counts as a sighting
Know Before You Go: The aurora always comes out stronger in photos than to the naked eye: photos are several-second exposures and gather light the eye cannot. A quiet aurora reads pale to the eye; a strong one shows its green, often with pink or red along the top
Know Before You Go: The tour is always guided in English. You can also choose another language when booking; we always try to arrange a guide who speaks it, but we cannot guarantee it
Know Before You Go: Bring a passport or ID card: on some nights we cross into Sweden
