Know Before You Go: This dark season/winter activity can get a bit "nippy" on some days. That said the climate in the Tromso area usually doesn´t get too cold - Tromsø averages about -5 degrees Celsius during winter. We could however end up in an area with colder temperatures for a while where the temperature goes down to -25 degrees Celsius. Bring proper winter clothing including mittens, a hat, and warm outer clothing.
