Product Info

Travel by ferry and bike, bus, or drive to Watergang from Amsterdam. Meet your guide at the blue house in the village, where you will have a short introduction before you start canoeing.

Canoe for 2 hours through the village and meadows. Learn about the Dutch waterways and water management as you canoe.

Halfway through the tour, the guide will offer you a drink.


After the canoe trip, you can relax in the guide’s garden, where you can have a picnic or snacks (not included in the tour price).

The village is very small and does not have any shops or cafés. Bringing your own food and drinks is not a problem.

  • Know Before You Go: The starting spot is the village of Watergang. You can reach it by bus (#100 and #104 from Amsterdam Metrostation Noord. You can pay with your credit card on the bus (check-in and out). Don´t forget to press STOP.

  • Know Before You Go: The village doesn't have any shops or cafes, so bring your own drinks and food if you'd like to relax in the village.

  • Know Before You Go: If you go by car, park the car at the Populierweg or Kanaaldijk. The village street is too small to park your car.

  • Know Before You Go: If you go by bike, allow a minimum of 40 minutes from the north part of the ferry (north of Amsterdam Central Station)
