Begin your Northern Lights adventure with an evening meeting in Reykjavík. Leave the city behind and head into the peaceful Icelandic countryside, far from the light pollution, for the best chance to spot the magical auroras.

Your expert guide will track down the clearest skies and the best KP index for optimal viewing. The hunt can last anywhere from 3 to 5 hours, depending on the conditions, but your guide will do everything possible to find the lights.

Once you find the perfect spot, get ready for an unforgettable show. Picture neon green ribbons lighting up the sky, sometimes shifting to soft pinks or deep purples, depending on solar activity. No two displays are ever the same. Waves of color shimmer and dance across the stars in a breathtaking, otherworldly performance that feels like a celestial ballet.

As you soak it all in, stay warm with hot chocolate and sweet treats. And don’t worry about missing the moment, your guide will snap some amazing photos of you with the lights, free of charge. After the adventure, make your way back to Reykjavík.
