Les Livres qui nous révèlent is an original cultural experience organized at La Cabane 24 in Piraillan (municipality of Lège-Cap-Ferret), facing the Bay of Arcachon. Much more than a reading evening, it is an invitation to slow down, to discuss, and to share an authentic moment in an exceptional natural setting.
In an authentic oyster bar with a breathtaking view of the Bassin, you will enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere where books become a great excuse to meet people. Here, you don't have to be a great reader: it's the discussions, emotions, and ideas that are at the heart of the experience.
Bring a book that you love, that you are discovering, or that you are currently reading. Share a page, a chapter, or a simple quote that inspires you. Sometimes a few lines are enough to start an exciting conversation. Over the course of the evening, everyone discovers not only new authors, but also new ways of seeing the world... and sometimes of discovering themselves.
The evening is hosted by Jean-Paul Lugan, a psychologist, coach, mental trainer, speaker, and author. With over 25 years of experience in personal support and having supported more than 11,000 people, he creates an atmosphere of trust, attentiveness, and kindness in which everyone is free to speak… or simply to listen.
No knowledge of literature is required. Whether you are passionate about reading, an occasional reader, or simply curious about a different cultural experience during your stay in the Bay of Arcachon, you will naturally find your place.
Whether you are visiting the Bay of Arcachon or a local, this evening offers you a timeless break, where reading becomes a way to create connections, nourish reflection, and share a special moment facing the Bay.
You will leave with a new desire to read, wonderful encounters, inspiring discussions, and perhaps that one sentence that will stay with you long after the evening is over.
