Product Info

Step into the atmospheric streets of Cardiff and discover a side of the city rarely seen by day. Led by an Extours host, this immersive walking tour blends centuries of Welsh folklore, local legends, and genuine accounts of the unexplained. Each route is shaped by detailed historical research and years of hands-on paranormal practice, offering a thoughtful and engaging experience for both believers and skeptics.

Begin your journey near to Cardiff Castle, where you’ll explore ghost stories, Victorian developments, and riverside paths shaped by the city’s industrial past. Along the way, your guide will share carefully researched stories of unusual events, forgotten tragedies, and reported encounters at some of Cardiff’s most historic locations. The tour avoids theatrics and forced scares, focusing instead on the real mysteries that linger in the city’s stones and stories.

As the evening unfolds, take part in an optional hands-on paranormal investigation. Using professional equipment such as EMF meters and dowsing rods, explore whether echoes of the past still resonate in the present. Participation is always optional; feel free to observe from a distance if you prefer. Conclude your walk at a central location, leaving you with a deeper understanding of Cardiff’s layered history and plenty of intriguing tales to share.

Please note: this experience does not enter the grounds of Cardiff Castle
