• Stellenbosch (1h45)

Your private tour begins in the Stellenbosch vineyards, just 20 minutes from Cape Town. Known for its scenic landscapes and world-class wines, the region is home to grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, and the uniquely South African Pinotage. You’ll also learn about the Methode Cap Classique, the local sparkling wine technique. Start with an orientation and walk through the historic town center of Stellenbosch before visiting two distinguished wine estates. At the first estate, enjoy a cheese tasting paired with several carefully selected wines, then continue to the second estate for a tasting of other local wines. You will also have the opportunity to purchase wines to take home.

• Franschhoek (2h)

Next, enjoy a private visit to the village of Franschhoek, a wine lover’s dream destination also known as the ‘French Corner.’ Perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to share a special experience, this former Huguenot village delights with its French heritage, picturesque streets, and relaxed atmosphere. Take a leisurely stroll through the historic center, then pause for a quick 5-minute stop at the Huguenot Memorial for photos (visiting the interior is optional). Then, hop on the Franschhoek Wine Tram for a scenic 10-minute ride through rolling vineyards to a local wine estate, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of 4–5 carefully selected wines in an intimate, exclusive setting, away from the crowds

• Drakenstein Prison

On the drive from Franschhoek to Paarl, you’ll pass by Drakenstein Prison (Victor Verster Prison), where Nelson Mandela spent the final fourteen months of his imprisonment before his release in February 1990. Your guide will briefly explain the historical significance of this important landmark.

• Paarl (1h)

The tour continues with a scenic drive around Paarl, one of South Africa’s oldest towns, known for its wine estates and natural beauty. Admire Paarl Mountain, whose large granite rocks shine like pearls in the sun, giving the town its name. Learn about the town’s history, from early Dutch settlers to its role during apartheid, before heading back to Cape Town.
