Product Info

Begin your journey with an early morning pickup in Santa Marta or Minca, followed by a scenic drive to La Tagua. From there, start hiking through beautiful natural trails surrounded by endemic flora and fauna. Along the way, enjoy a traditional breakfast prepared by a local farming family before continuing toward Altos de la Sierra, where you will spend the night in a rustic mountain lodge.

In the afternoon, explore the surroundings, learn about local agricultural traditions, enjoy spectacular mountain views, and witness a memorable sunset over the Sierra Nevada. After dinner, relax under a star-filled sky and experience the tranquility of the mountains.

On the second day, wake up early to enjoy sunrise in the Sierra Nevada before breakfast. Then begin the ascent to Cerro Kennedy, the highest point of the trek. Weather permitting, enjoy panoramic views of Pico Cristóbal Colón and Pico Simón Bolívar, the highest coastal mountains in the world. After returning to the lodge for a snack, descend through cloud forest trails back to La Tagua, enjoy a traditional lunch, and return to Santa Marta.
