Experience the magic of the Al Sharqiya Sands Hot Air Balloon adventure, a breathtaking journey lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour that begins before sunrise. Guests meet our team between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM depending on the winter sunrise timing before heading to the take-off site located between Arabian Oryx Camp and Desert Nights Camp. As the crew prepares the balloon, you can enjoy morning coffee and light snacks while watching the colorful inflation process take shape.

Once airborne, your hot air balloon glides gently above the golden dunes of Al Sharqiyah Sands, reaching heights of around 600 meters. The peaceful desert landscape, shifting sand colors, and complete silence create an unforgettable sense of serenity. Each flight follows the direction of the wind which means every experience offers unique views, incredible photo opportunities, and moments you will treasure throughout your journey.

After landing, the experience concludes with a small celebration featuring juice, snacks, and a commemorative medal, a perfect reminder of your sunrise adventure in one of Oman’s most iconic deserts. It is recommended to dress comfortably in flat shoes and to bring a hat, sunglasses, and a camera to fully enjoy this remarkable experience.
