Begin your journey in Casablanca, where you will be picked up from your hotel, airport, or preferred location. Travel toward the interior of Morocco, passing through Rabat or the Middle Atlas region depending on the route. Along the way, enjoy scenic landscapes, traditional towns, and a glimpse of local Moroccan life.
Continue your journey through the Atlas Mountains, with stops in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Drive through Midelt and enjoy panoramic views of the Ziz Valley, one of the most beautiful oasis landscapes in the country.
By the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea before starting your desert experience. Meet your camel guide and begin your trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride across the golden sands and stop along the way to admire a breathtaking sunset. Continue to the desert camp, located deep in the dunes, where you will spend the night.
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, followed by Berber music around the campfire under a sky full of stars. This is one of the most unforgettable moments of the journey, offering a true connection with the Sahara.
The next morning, wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4. Continue your journey toward Marrakech, passing through the spectacular Todra Gorge, where you can take a short walk between its towering cliffs. Travel through the Valley of Roses and Dades Valley, known for their unique rock formations and scenic beauty.
Visit Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historic architecture and film history. Finally, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking views before arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
