Begin your private 2-day adventure with pickup from your agreed location in Albania and travel toward the Gramë Lakes and Korab highlands. Once the paved road ends, continue for approximately two hours through remote mountain tracks by 4x4.
On arrival, enjoy a generous traditional lunch at local dairy and shepherd huts, prepared with fresh regional products and local dishes.
The experience is not limited to one lake or viewpoint. Much of the afternoon is spent driving between different parts of the highlands, following winding tracks through large open fields, wildflower meadows, lakes, small rivers, mountain ridges, and panoramic viewpoints at around 1,800 metres above sea level. There are frequent stops to walk, take photos, rest, explore the landscape, or simply enjoy the silence and fresh mountain air.
Depending on the season and conditions, guests can swim, pick wild blueberries, play outdoor or board games, listen to music, enjoy additional off-road routes, or relax beside the lakes.
Later in the day, drive toward a high viewpoint for golden hour. A barbecue is prepared while the group watches the sunset over the surrounding mountains.
Throughout the trip, moments are recorded using an Insta360 X5. Drone footage may also be captured when weather, safety, and flight conditions allow.
After sunset, settle in for the night. The camping area is prepared with lighting, firewood, seating, and cooking equipment. Guests can stay at the prepared campsite or in a simple wooden cabin, depending on availability and the agreed arrangement. Mountain nights can be cold even during summer, so warm clothing is essential.
The second day begins with pancakes and a selection of toppings. Afterwards, continue exploring the region by 4x4. The morning route can take the group through different valleys, lakes, fields, streams, and elevated viewpoints, with plenty of stops for photography, short walks, seasonal blueberry picking, or more time relaxing in the landscape.
Experienced and properly equipped hikers may also ask about Mount Korab hiking possibilities. This is separate from the standard itinerary and depends on weather, trail conditions, and the availability of a local mountain guide.
At approximately 4:00 PM, begin the return journey, including around two hours of off-road driving before continuing on paved roads toward the original pickup location.
This is a private experience, with one driver-guide for each 4x4. Transportation, fuel, meals, drinking water, overnight accommodation, camping equipment, and planned activities are included. The exact route and order of activities may change depending on weather, road access, seasonal conditions, and the group’s preferences.
