The Five Avenues Guided Walk: Your journey begins with a 60-minute guided walk through Tianjin’s Five Avenues area, a district shaped by early 20th-century British urban planning. The straight streets, uniform road widths, and small front gardens all reflect the architectural order and lifestyle of that era. As you walk, your guide will take you through the evolution of architectural styles, share stories of historical figures who once lived here, and show how this former “living laboratory” of foreign residents has transformed into one of Tianjin’s cultural landmarks today.

PlanetPicks Studio Sustainable Workshop: Enjoy an interactive sustainability workshop at PlanetPicks Studio, where creativity meets eco-friendly living. Every craft activity is designed to reconnect you with nature and promote low-waste living. You may choose 1–2 activities from the following four:
a) Textile Crafting – Create unique embroidery or appliqué designs for clothing or bags, or repair old garments with artistic patches. Extend the life of your items while reducing waste and fashion pollution through mindful design.
b) Woodcraft Upcycling – Repurpose linden or pine wood collected from garden pruning. Using laser engraving and hand-painting, transform natural materials into earrings, ornaments, or cultural crafts, giving them a new life.
c) Creative Upcycling of Old Items – Turn old clothing into new tote bags or accessories. Experience the power of “re-making,” giving discarded materials renewed value and reducing landfill waste.
d) Nature-Inspired Crafts – Use seasonal natural materials such as coffee grounds, fallen leaves, or plant fibers to create fully biodegradable artworks. Embrace nature’s cycle and practice zero-waste creativity.
