Picton Cruise Ship Shore Excursion: Marlborough Wine Tour｜New Zealand

Departing from the Picton I-Site, this guided Jade Wine Tour takes you in an air-conditioned minibus to the Wairau Valley for a personalised tasting experience. Visit a selection of family-run wineries and sample Marlborough’s famous Sauvignon Blanc and other varietals, learn about different wine styles, and enjoy the scenic vineyard landscapes with stops to take photos. The tour includes lunch at a vineyard restaurant (own cost) and, time permitting, a visit to a boutique chocolate factory.
Your tour is hosted by a local who is keen to share their winemaking and vineyard knowledge and enthusiasm for Marlborough wine country.
Each tour is planned around the specific arrival and departure times of your cruise ship, allowing for a flexible itinerary that makes the most of your time ashore while ensuring a comfortable return to port. Shuttle buses are provided from the ship to the Picton iSite, where you meet the Jade Tours van. You will be back in Picton at least 60 minutes before the last shuttles leave for the ship. Don’t worry, we will make sure you’re back on time for your scheduled ship departure.
