This is a full-day Banff experience, started in morning at 07:30 AM from Calgary and designed as a complete package to visit some of the most famous destinations in Banff National Park. This bus tour combines turquoise alpine lakes, scenic photoshooting, a canyon hike, old town exploration, quick local bites, coffee tasting, and shopping opportunities in one memorable journey through the Canadian Rockies.
The day begins at Lake Louise, one of the most iconic lake destinations in the Rockies. Guests can enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere, take a relaxing walk along the lakeshore, and admire the turquoise water and mountain scenery. There will also be time to visit Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where guests can enjoy coffee at the café or browse nearby shops for souvenirs. If time allows, guests may also walk closer toward Victoria Glacier to appreciate the glacier landscape and its scale.
The journey then continues to Moraine Lake, where guests will be guided to special photo spots. The area also offers a café and a souvenir shop. Guests will be led by the tour guide on a walk up the famous Rockpile Trail, where they can overlook the brilliant turquoise lake from above. Along the way, the experience becomes even more special with striking rock formations, beautiful trees, and the chance to spot small wildlife. If time allows, the tour guide may also bring guests to a secret spot for an even more special photoshooting experience.
For lunch, guests will be dropped off at Samson Mall for quick local bites. They may also enjoy their food at the picnic tables along the Bow River, making the break both scenic and relaxing.
Later in the day, guests will enjoy a scenic hike at Johnston Canyon to the Lower Falls, one of Banff National Park’s most loved natural attractions. The trail offers forest scenery, dramatic canyon walls, rushing water, and picturesque waterfalls, making it another excellent setting for sightseeing and photography.
Throughout the tour, the Photo Challenge adds a fun and memorable element. Guests are encouraged to capture their favorite moments at the destinations visited during the day, while the tour guide shares helpful tips on where and how to take beautiful shots. The guide will also do his best to make sure every guest leaves with wonderful photos before heading home. The challenge continues throughout the journey and ends at the final part of the tour. Winners of the challenge will receive prizes.
For guests staying in Calgary / Canmore, the tour also includes time to wander Banff Avenue for shopping and mountain-town atmosphere. For guests already staying in Banff, two options will be selected from nearby attractions such as Bow Falls, Cascade Ponds, or other secret stops, depending on the day’s arrangement.
